Was it ever decided what Rant had to do about the extra player on his roster? He is the only one of us with 41 guys on the roster through no fault of his own. Who does he drop?

My suggestion is Uggla, who was the 2nd (and erroneous) pick of the 25th round picks that put him over the limit.

Based on our vote, I pm'ed Rant and told him he could drop any player of his choice, but he needs to drop it now. Rant, you need to announce it here. Dropping it on the draft site doesn't always work.

Does it feel equitable for you to get the extra, 4th round prospect pick, or does it feel more equitable to leave things as they are? if I don't get an answer soon. I will assume you are not getting that pick.

We can begin loading our teams for the league. The EAST division must all load first, then the Central must all load, and then the West can load. I have started the league. It is called Finders Keepers - 200 mil, and the password is "find" . EAST ONLY, load your tams, and then the last East person should announce and then Central can load.
You do not need to load your team perfectly, as you can add and drop at will, no one can pick up folks you drop, and because of the 200 mil limit, money is not an issue. So I encourage you to load your team quickly, and tinker later in the week.

Some folks like to trade, or trade for prospect picks. so it is a good time to talk about trades. All trades must be announced by one owner, and then confirmed by the other, on this thread for now.
Trading Etiquette

Experienced Managers probably know this stuff, but I will mention it for newbies.
*please offer deals that have some real advantage to both teams, and don't try to rip people off.
* If you receive a specific trade offer (not just one made to the whole league), please respond asap, with either yes, no, or I'm thinking about it. It is frustrating to put out an offer, and then not know if the other manager is interested.
*Don't expect your trade offer to be responded to right away. During the season, many mangers don't check their mail every day (they have lives amazingly enough)
*If you say no to a deal but are still interested in trading, let the other manager know what you are looking for. The best deals come when you have two owners who need different things, match up those needs.
*If your team is set, and you're not interested in deals for the time being, let the league know that , too.

Not to complicate things, as I realize the prospect draft rules were posted on page one, but perhaps we should do a two or four round draft for the start up (moving back to three rounds after)? Or do a third round after Season One (same time as supplemental draft), draft order determined by record.
