We will be set-up as a $200M league - so the autodraft will be fine. This is a very common occurrence in these drafts by my experience.
I didn't read all these in detail as my connection is very slow, but I will tell you that I went over knowingly (though I have not drafted my 25th player yet, so technically I am still below), just because I planned to drop my final pick to get to the cap. In our $25M league someone even drafted McCovey with the final pick. I don't see where it makes much difference as long as you are at the cap by gametime. We are talking about the 24-25th players here.
I can understand not wanting to take a player off the market unfairly. If I do that I will trade him to the next person in line that wanted him or add/drop him during the frenzy (Yes, Bill frenzy, please).
Sorry if the cap thing caused any heartburn, but how much planning got thrown off by this? I will skip my last pick if people prefer. I have proxies set up now (as requested by most of you) so if it fires I am sorry.
But let's move on. Or penalize me my #1 pick?
