Am I correct that it is not possible for a player to get a triple if he did not have one during the year?
I have Hammerin' Hank in the 70s and he's been hurt 3 times already (via Flyout v. R) making me think it's his worst year. However, he also has a triple. He had none that year. Thus, can I eliminate this year from the list.

It's supposed to be that way per strat rules, but I don't think TSN has that rule.

Any player can triple from the pitcher's card either from the card itself or via an X fielding chance.

or by stretching a double to a triple through the more baserunning decisions option.
