Bill,
1st of all great job on the way you handle this league.Since this was my 1st season I don't quite understand how you arrived at the draft order for next year's Spring Draft.Since my team was 30 games under .500 for this year's 2 teams I don't understand why I only draft 6th in next year's draft.Am I misunderstanding the way this works ?.... :)

Scott,
Yup I'm a dope, I forgot to cume the results from both seasons, sorry. I'll adjust it later I;ve got a lot on my plate today. Suffice to say the order above is simply the order from last season.

Thanks QK (and Niner - great job by the way) -

QK - I thought our series was going to go 5 games and I did not have a good feeling going in, so I was surprised to take it in three. Game 3 was tough, as I lost Napoli for the Finals. I again don't like my matchups for the Finals, so hopefully that is a good sign.

Okay, Congrats to smitty and C2 for making the finals, not to jinx him but this is the third trip, in 4 seasons, to the finals for smitty with no rings yet to show for it. All in all though other than smitty's seeming dominance, every team in the league has made the playofs at least once, except 1.

Sorry KD

Anyway here's the CORRECT draft order for next Spring's Free Agent and Spring Prospect drafts, the number folloinwing is the cumed win total for this year:

1. klx22 127
2. Cubs48 147
3.kaviksdad 150
4. terry101 151
5. cshannajr 158
6. Ninersphan 165
7. Splinter 169
8. afdickie 172
9. Cummings2 174
10. qksilver 175
11. 7smitty7 177
12. nythawk 183

I'll send this out in an e-mail as well.

Hey Niner - I think this is only my second trip to the Finals - and I am 0-1, losing to your Skyhawks in USKL III season 3. Let me lose this Finals before I start developing a Buffalo Bills complex.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I show the Final's history this way:

Season 1 - Splinter's Pounders over Terry's FightingEntropy
Season 2 - Dalinoth's Mudcats over Splinter's Pounders
Season 3 - Niner's Skyhawks III over Smitty's Talismen III
Season 4 - TBD - Talismen IV vs. C2's Emotional Drains

I'll have to go back and look, I only checked my chart on my spread sheet and might have either looked at it cross-eyed or have the information in the wrong box. Thanks for letting me know.

Ok I checked and you were right, it's Splinter who has 3 playoff trips wining a division title 3 out of 4 times and been to the finals twice, not smitty. D'OH

OK - now I'm 0-2 after getting smoked in 4 games by C2's Emotional Drains. It's like Colorado a couple of years ago. My guys were just happy to be there and were never in it.

Congrats to C2!

Congrats C2 on the sweep  . And thanks to those who've sent along kind words for me and my overseeing the league. I'm preparing for my Fantasy Football draft tomorrow morning so it will probably be sometime Monday before I send out year end rosters.
Thanks for your patience. :D

I know I am jumping the gun, but I was bored, and tomorrow I go back to work teaching. So, now that the season(s) are over, how do you feel about your roster heading into the offseason (and obviously knowing the MLB regular season is not yet finished). What do you feel are strengths and weaknesses?

I feel pretty good about my everyday players and lineup strength, with the exception being I'm not sure if anyone can play LF.

C - Napoli, Montero - Strong
1B - Teixeira, Votto - Very Strong
2B - O. Hudson - Strong
3B - Reynolds - No D, but Very Strong
SS - Tejada, Tulo - Very Strong
LF - Quentin, Cuddyer, Winn - ???
CF - Bourn, Sizemore - Strong
RF - Cruz, Ethier, Ross - Strong
DH - Many options above + Thome, Garko

Pitching is a whole other story:

Greinke - Stud
Kuroda - OK
Soria - Good

After that - Shields, Blackburn, Cueto, and nothing in the 'pen.

I'll certainly be in the market for pitching help, though I think I have some pieces that may be attractive to others.

I had to turn the page after getting smoked in the Finals, and I'm already looking forward to next year. How about the rest of you?
