Joe 6-Pack Theme League - Need 6

This theme league may have you wanting to give up beer. All of the following rules will be a take on 6-packs of Beer. Will you be drunk and in disarray or will you be able to stand on your feet and create a good team? Good Luck and may nobody be seeing double.

[b:71edd40c34]Joe 6-Pack Theme League Rules:[/b:71edd40c34] (1st annual)

1. Everyone will play in one of four stadiums with no duplicate stadiums within your Division. Place yourself in a Division and name your park when signing up. IOW there will be 4 different parks in each Division. The following parks are to be used based on the beer theme:

Busch
Coors
Miller
Minute Maid/Tropicana*

* since these two parks aren't beers but regular drinks, the Manager signing up with these parks can play in either one and does not have to declare which one when signing up. Simply declare MM/Trop.

2. Everyone's draft card will be in the form of 6-packs or 12-packs. Complete your draft card in the following manner:

[i:71edd40c34]#1 slot [/i:71edd40c34]- this is a "wildcard" pick. Can be any player, hitter or pitcher
[i:71edd40c34]#2-7 slots[/i:71edd40c34] - (first 6-pack) Must be either 6 hitters or 6 pitchers, but not a combination.
[i:71edd40c34]#8-13 slots [/i:71edd40c34]- (second 6-pack) Same as #2-7 except you will go with the opposite. For example, you picked 6 [i:71edd40c34]hitters[/i:71edd40c34] for slots 2-7. You would then pick 6 [i:71edd40c34]pitchers[/i:71edd40c34] for 8-13.
[i:71edd40c34]#14-25 slots[/i:71edd40c34] - (12-pack) These remaining slots will be used to complete your team with the 11 pitchers and 14 hitters needed to draft. So it will be a combination of hitters and pitchers.

3. 6-pack of waiver picks. No, not the usual 8, but everyone can have a maximum of 6 waiver picks. 'Less' than 6 is ok.

4. You'll have blurry vision after this rule. Let's hope you constructed your team well in the autodraft and waivers cause they'll be a maximum of 6 roster moves after waivers. Yes, no more than 6 transactions after the waiver period. Note the below examples of roster moves:

Ex 1: drop David Wright
Add Aramis Ramirez

That counts as one roster move.

Ex. 2: drop player X
add no one

That would also be one roster move

Ex. 3: add player Y
drop no one

That would also be one roster move

5. After the season starts (we will constitute it as midnight Monday night/Tue. morning) of opening night, a maximum of 6 roster moves during the entire season. Roster moves are just like above examples.

6. A maximum of 6 trades allowed during entire session. Pre-season thru regular season.

7. Everytime a teams record (wins AND losses) are in multiples of 6 they get a free roster move. The Manager MUST declare this on the day his record qualifies. For example, your record is 12-12. The day you are 12-12 you must make a league announcement that you qualify for a free transaction. The transaction can be saved for later use, but to use it you must have declared it in league mail. Both wins AND losses must be in multiples of 6. For example, a record of 12-8 doesn't qualify.

8. Vets highly preferred due to honesty/exactness required on our draft cards and complexity of rules.

9. As Commish I reserve the right to make a decision to any rules not covered here that might arise. Since this is the first annual 6-pack league it could be I missed something in these original rules.
