If you believe that there are some suspicious trades going on in your league, just report them to TSN/Bernie. They will investigate. Just have some facts available. Only twice in 300 leagues have I seen blatant commiserating between two or three owners in which I had asked to exit that league.
However, if someone is taking advantage of a newbie in trades, there probably isn't a whole lot that can be done. That is part of baseball. Just flip a note to the owners asking what their rationale was. If neither responds to you at all, then there may be something up.
Sometimes legitimate trading can be misconstrued. What you think may be a bad trade may seem fair to someone else. For the most part, it's subjective.
In regards to answering trade offers quickly, that is not your issue. If you only check the league every couple of days or so, that is your choice. However, I agree that guys should at least acknowledge the trade by accepting or rejecting when they see it.
Best of luck to you around the leagues.
