Which players in the 2008 set are you getting the best value for money from? I'm only just starting with this set but some of the better ones I've found so far are:

D.Young
J. Kippinger
J. Pierre

Who else would you add to this list? Pitchers?

well "value" players depends almost totally on what type of park you play in. A value player in Fenway is not a value player in Citizens Bank park.

Also, it's a little early for me to feel comfortable about divulging all of the best values...probably in a few months it'll be time to go through some season-ending awards.

Any really bad defensive player serving as your DH is a good value since cards are priced based on combined offense and defense. If your DH is very bad defensively, this actually brought his card value down significantly and you gain that value back by using him as a hitter only.

What maligned said...

I use Renteria as my DH vs. LH's in pitching parks.
