I was thinking we could do this one at $90 mil. That gives you $10 mil to use to release and draft replacements.

I'd like to start this one the end of Sept, so we'd all have ot be in by Friday Oct 2nd.

Do we keep the same teams, which seems boring to me, or use a randomizer and draft teams? this doesn't seem fair as the last team gets stuck?

I'm thinking that if you want to keep the same team, that's fine, otherwise??????

I'd like to continue. In another franchise league we had a lottery draft to select teams and after the first season we inverted the picks so that one could select another team. I think we should do something similar so you would have the opportunity, but not be required, to select a different team.

Also, I'd have no problem bumping the cap to $100, as I think most teams probably had some good players left in the minors they would use.

I had another thought on a twist - admittedly an unusual one - in which each team would have to identify one player from their franchise that would be shipped out; these 24 players would be randomly assigned to another team. Thus someone who had the Indians franchise would discover that Bill White was on their team. We'd have to specify a salary range, but I think it would be interesting. I've not fleshed this thought out obviously, but if there is any interest perhaps we could. (Perhaps, that long drive I made yesterday has affected my brain and this idea is foolish, however ?!)

What if there were two draft one for a franchise pitching and one for hitting? If you draft #1 in hitters, your #24 in pitchers. How about a limited number of trades allowed (3 players?).
