I was kind of surprised Teixeira dropped as far as he did -- figured he'd go top 5.

Yeah, the shortstops left aren't great, but that's the way it goes. I spent a lot on J. J. Hardy in the Trek league, and it's not like he brought home a pennant. (Or in real life -- he got sent to Triple-A a few weeks ago. I was thus able to buy Danny a Hardy shirt at Miller Park Sunday for 60 percent off.)

Shortages at many positions...I passed on Teix because I figured there are plenty of playable people at 1B...but not so much at catcher.

SS is going to be a tough one, for sure.

I'm a bit surprised Roberts lasted to me. I had him pegged to be my 2nd pick right after I made my first pick, but didn't think I would get him. Not that the picks right before me weren't good though.

I don't think Calbatross thought it would get back to him so soon.

For being the 'elite' league, the AL has been short on the SS position for a looooong time.

I'm so screwed.

I set up a couple of rounds of proxies, but depending on how we progress overnight/early morning, I will set up a few more before being unavailable in the afternoon.

Looks like Meat incorrectly excluded Joakim Soria (KC), but did not exclude Sergio Romo (SF). Let's go ahead and make Sergio Romo equal Joakim Soria.
