[quote:454dc80229="he's meat"]well, let's see, alexi ramirez, elsberry, bartlett!!! my proxies swept away before I could even enter some. ill put in as many as I can to get thru my two picks, but got a doctor's appointment, then on to dodger stadium and won't be on line till after ten eastern unless i can borrow someone's laptop or get a pick in via my super slow cell phone connection. stop weasling, and we'll be fine...[/quote:454dc80229]

Meat's proxies didn't seem to last too long. There were only three picks between the time he wrote this and now.

Ugh. Was hoping Cust would last another round....but really didn't know what kind of ballpark I'm going to end up in (still don't) and if I go pitcher-friendly, that card is a clunker. As it is, I've got a CF with mediocre range and a potential gold glove SS who probably won't get the required number of AB to win it -- though he'll be bunting and H&Running as much as possible...

Taking Figgins was a stretch but what was left did not feel he was that bad of a choice. I like my Bullpen, my 2 SP's are not that bad and I like my Infield. What does that mean? Another under-performing team that comes in Last Place :)

Tom, I just made the Playoffs last night in Round 2. The expanded standings had me ahead by 10 games with 3 to play, instead I was 1 game under .500 and 1 game back. I took 2 out of 3 and tied for 1st and took the tie-breaker. I had a +63 run differential and everyone else in my Division had a negative run differntial. Will see what happens in the Playoffs.

I'm just interested which of Cal's guys plays the field: Jason Giambi or Jack Cust.
