I tried searching the links you provided but it was too tedious trying to find out how bidding for the ballparks worked. Could you explain? Thanks.

We didn't really explain that one. As we learned in the first auction, pitchers go faster so at any time during the auction someone whose turn it is to nominate a pitcher may nominate a ballpark instead, with bidding starting at $500K. As it's turned out in the second auction no one is in any hurry to nominate a ballpark and it's likely the bidding for these will come near or at the end.

What about those who travel or are on vacation? Do you have any allowances? Also I may have missed it, but how do you handle the weekends?

Weekends we've bid straight through and no one ever made an issue of it.

Vacations - we suspended bidding for a week once when several participants were on vacation at the same time.

Missed bids - If someone missed a player because you unexpectedly lost internet access for more than 24 hours we allowed an exception. This happened a couple of times in the first league.
