Hey guys, I'm back from a solemn day - including NO STRAT. After a nice breaking of the fast at Salvatore's Italian Restaurant (a tradition in our family), I clicked online assuming that we would be done with the draft. I see that F.O.X executed my proxy at noon today. However none of the 5 picks after me happened! Was everyone else in synagogue too? :(

Budgets and Trades

To clarify, these rules must be strictly followed:
* $100m cash available at all times until after Game 120 is played.
* All trades have to be formal transactions
So, for example, I must follow these steps:
1. I must have at least $100m cash available on my autodraft card.
2. I must keep at least $100m cash available at every instant in the preseason.
3. I must keep at least $100m cash available at every instant in the regular season before Game 120 is posted.
4. If AeroDave and I agree to trade Hanley Ramirez from my team for Mark Teixeira from his team, I need to have Ramirez on my roster (and Tex on his roster).
5. AeroDave or I need to click a trade offer for these two players.
6. If this trade is in the preseason or regular season before Game 120, I will actually need at least $102.19m cash available before I can legally do this trade. That's because Teixeira costs $2.19m more than Ramirez, and I still need at least $100m cash available the instant the trade is completed.
Does this make sense? Any more questions?

I just want to confirm how the team set-up works since I've never dealt with auto-draft.
1. Join league/create team/choose stadium
2. Fill-out your draft card with [u:2dc24d1fc5]only[/u:2dc24d1fc5] 25 players (see below) who will be on your "active" roster.
According to FAQ:
[i:2dc24d1fc5]You must choose exactly 11 pitchers. At least:
5 of your pitchers must have a starting pitcher endurance rating (e.g. S6).
4 of your pitchers must be "pure" relievers (i.e. a relief rating (R2) but no starter rating).
1 of your pitchers must have a closer endurance rating (e.g. C4).
You must choose exactly 14 hitters.
2 of your hitters must be eligible to play catcher. [/i:2dc24d1fc5]
After the auto-draft runs, you can add additional players from your player pool (assuming you have room under the salary cap).
I appreciate your patience. I just want to make sure that I don't mess anything up when setting up my draft card/team.

You got it. Make sure your team name is correct according to the rules for this league.
Normally draft order matters an awful lot, but in this thing it doesn't make a difference because no one else can claim your players.
