I need one win and I'm good to go. Would love to[i:dc07a62a83] not [/i:dc07a62a83]lose best record tonight, however, as that would give me 3 best record teams.

Wow, Rivera blows a save in the 9th inning of the 161st game, and I'm out! Sounds a bit like Rivera in real life!!

Great season everyone! Good luck to the playoff teams.

4 way tie for WC. Amazing!

Late surge by the Phanatics left us only 6 out of WC. Much closer than what I would have expect a month ago.

Good luck to all the playoff teams

Pulled out best record. Even though it's probably one of if not the least amount of wins for B.R., I'll take it with the heavily-competitive field we had this season.

Yeah, can't believe that 4-way tie for WC...there's not even an explanation in the rules on how they determine the tie-break for a 4-way tie. I'm assuming and quite certain they used the 3-way tie formula.

I think I match up well against Silver, but feel there's no clear cut favorite in the P/O's...even more so than usual, anyone can take the pie this time.

So GL to all, and Joe, quite a finish to pull out the Division. Cudos.

Thanks Jeep.

We got really lucky the last three series. I said we'd probably have to win 8 of 9 to get in, but I didn't think we'd really do it, especially by winning the last 8 in a row!

Hopefully we can ride the hot streak through the playoffs. Four way tie, that's just amazing! Seven teams were in the race, and all seven finished in at least a tie for a playoff spot! Wow! 8-) 8-)

I'm not sure why I don't have the home field advantage however. Our head-to-head was tied and we have the run differential. I guess there's a different tie breaker? Does anyone know?

Wish we coulda won 1 game in that last series, oh well!

Anyway, just glad to be hear, we closed the season well overall so hoping the playoffs come out well. Had a good HTH record vs. all playoff teams I think...

Nice job all - very evenly matched reg season.

Silver,

yeah, I was very surprised we swept. I was just hoping to beat out Big M for the WC.

Here are the ratings for the 4 PO teams in the four parks:

[code:1:a16a1a3ac7]
US Cell Chase Petco Progressive
Jeep 2957 2930 2489 2745
Smoke 2726 2618 2387 2471
Silver 2801 2749 2357 2551
Wineman 3123 3049 2369 2671
[/code:1:a16a1a3ac7]

I should mention that Silver's in-season moves actually did improve his rating. something that is hard to do.

Ratings overall are pretty close in each park. (No surprise) Biggest gaps are Burgundy over Smoke and Silver in Cell, Burgundy over Silver in Chase (not that the season series shows that at all! Burgundy went 2-10 in Chase)

Petco is remarkably close. Jeep would have an apparent pretty good gap v Smoke and Silver at home and versus Silver at Chase.

FWIW anyway. Playoffs are mostly luck especially in a 5 gamer.

Records
Mangos v Burgundy tied 6-6
Drawls 6-6 tied with Silver

Silver 13-11 v Burgundy
Drawls 7-5 v Burgundy
Mangos 7-5 v Drawls
Mangos 5-4 v Silver

Those are all pretty close, again, no surprise.

I can't see the other home/aways, but if we're lucky enough to get past Smoke and happen to play Jeep, we were 4-2 at his place and he was 5-1 at ours!

Smokey, just FYI, I made a change to the rotation for tonight's game. Can't imagine it would affect you much if you already set your lineups for both LH and RH however.

GL to everyone. I wonder if the PO games will be as tight as the regular season. 8-)

Ugh, Tough night.

Lose the first one in 12, leaving 10 OB and hitting into 4 DPs (including a LO Max with a guy at second) You'd think we could maybe do something against Jimenez, D Reyes, Springer and Masterson, but no such luck. (makes sense that we didn't do much v Romo)

Game 2, give up a 1-6 Grand Slam (of course 2b the rest so runs would have scored anyway) set up by a 1-3 LFx on Damon. We hit two of our own HRs, but with no one on. :(

Going to be tough to battle back, but at least we have Harden in game 3, of course, I thought we had a great match up with Lowe against Jimenez in Game one only to see him dodge 11 base runners in 6.2 IP, so it prolly doesn't mean anything.

C'est Le SOM. Sometimes you do it and sometimes you don't. You know when you hit .158 as a team (I know it's in Petco, but come one) that you didn't do much. Course he hit only .189, but the ERAs are 3.15 to 0.82 :!:  Guess we'll have to battle, in our just completed AD league, we won the first two, but lost the next three so maybe it's turn about for us.

Of course, I'm still pissed we don't have HF Advantage. I don't know WTF we don't have that. :?
