OK, updates to the NLD History here: http://www.angelfire.com/games5/joethejet/NLD_History.xls (remember you may have to copy and paste to get it to work)
Things of note:
NLD 23 was the closest in history by many measures. The Std Dev was only 4.2 the next closes was NLD 15 (5.4). The lowest record was 72 wins which is third lowest of all time (15&18 - 74 wins). the High win total of 86 was the lowest ever. There were 7 teams > .500 only NLD 8&9 had more.
Silver made the playoffs for the 5th straight time. He holds the record at six straight (10-15). The next closest is Wineman with 4. No one else has done it more than three times (Smokee, Jeep, Wineman). Given that, at most, two teams can repeat, Silver's record is remarkable.
Silver has made the playoffs an amazing 78% of the time. Next closest with more than three tries is Wineman at 52% and jeep at 46%.
Jeep's best record makes him (percentage wise) the most frequent best record manager. 23%
Stoney and C2 move ahead of Penngray with six total NLDs. Big A ties with Jamesgang. Smokee and AT trail only the "original three" with 15 NLDs and Big M is only one back at 14.
The second best record won for the 9th time and the second in succession.
Over the last 8 NLD (3 years) Wineman has the best record (.533).
Silver and WM have made the playoffs 5 of those 8. AT 4.
NLDers looking for their first NLD ring are: Warrior, Big A and Stoney
Penngray slipped back ahead (barely) of Silver for best overall wining pct. (5 seasons or more).
Guess that's about it.
