One stratergy mistake I know I made... selecting "balanced" instead of "studs & duds"... balanced gave me some guys between 3M and 4M that will get creamed in 100M league... I imagine studs & duds would have given me more stars and 1M-2M guys who are just as unusable as the 3M-4M guys I got. We shall see. :roll:

I went 50/50 studs & scrubs. A couple of expensive pitchers and 4 hitters in the $8-9 million range. Good thing we're using the DH as two of the hitters play the same damn position :roll:

I couldn't envision how the teams might end up. As I look at my team now, I got some studs to work with but a nasty waiver draft could leave a lot of teams scrambling to fill major gaps. We might have a league where some teams win 120 games while others, like mine, will win maybe....2! :shock:

I went 60/40 towards hitting, and chose the more stars and scrubs option. From my QD, I got Gehrig, W. Johnson, Kiner, E. Martinez and T. Fernandez. Missed out on Aaron (had him #1) and E. Collins. I got D. Winfield and Gehringer in their places. Not bad, I guess.
So, Waiver's runs at 5pm Thursday? Appointment computer time, to be sure. This definitely would have been more fun as a frenzy, IMO. :)

I went 70/30 hitting, with the superstars and scrubs option.
happy with Foxx, Ted Williams, and JoeD.
Of players of any consequence on my draft card, i think i only ended up with Jimmie Foxx, who i had listed like 3rd or 4th

70/30 stud/scrub, had Aaron (popular dude), Wagner, Mantle, Frisch and Yaz. Got Mantle, Wanger and Frisch. Missed on minor 1B, 2B, C, and only Ps on the card were Dean and Doak. Might be why I pick 2nd lol. I must say, when I hit that little draft button, I thought I was golden; seems kinda bronze now
