I have only have one 1969 league under my belt. If you need another guy by the end of the week, I can join. I'll watch the boards

Why wait, Bob? We need you! From the looks of the rankings you have a bit more than one under your belt, too, my friend

OOPS - I was trying to recruit a former co-worker of mine to play in the 1969 Economic Stimulus League and I must have mistakenly pasted his e-mail response to me in the Message Board section rather than my own response.

Anyway, we are still one guy short for now.

Ken - looks like we are finally full - can we get going with the draft order based on tomorrow's pick 3 #s? Thurs Oct 8?

You betcha!! :) :)

Reminders - Draft order for teams will be based on highest to lowest, based on the results of Thursday, Oct. 8 Pick 3. Managers are not allowed to choose the same team they managed in ES-1.

Draft order for players will be based on the accumulated salary total of each team participating, lowest to highest.

Unless I hear other suggestions, we can go again with the geographic division setup. Even though my White Sox team got manhandled by the Cubbies in the last league (7 - 17), I still like the concept of these rivalries.

I agree - the geographical rivalries should be maintained.

can someone post a link for stadiums....it isn't on Strato.berce.us and it obviously has an impact on who you would add to your team
Thanks

I'm not aware of any link. I'll go back through some of my previous leagues to get that info. Here's some to get you started:

Boston Red Sox/Fenway Park SI L 1-17, R 1-14; HR L 1-11, R 1-17

N.Y. Yankees/Yankee Stadium SI Both 1-3; HR L 1-14, R 1-5

Philadelphia Philles/shibe Park SI L 1-9, R 1-5; HR L 1-4, R 1-13

Montreal/Jarry Park SI Both 1-16, HR Both 1-14

Chicago Cubs/Wrigley Field SI Both 1-10, HR Both 1-15

Since only 17 of the 24 teams are eligible, there's only twelve other stadiums to consider.

[u:e8e3f370ec]Edit No. 1 More Stadiums[/u:e8e3f370ec]

Chicago White Sox/Comiskey Park SI Both 1-13, HR Both 1-7

Los Angeles Dodgers/Dodger Stadium SI Both 1-5, HR Both 1-12

Detroit Tigers/Tiger Stadium SI L 1-13, R 1-10; HR L 1-16, R 1-13

St. Louis Cards/Busch Stadium SI Both 1-13, HR Both 1-6

Atlanta Braves/Fulton County SI Both 1-9, HR Both 1-19

Since I live out in California, one of the other managers may want to compile the Pick 3 results and post them; otherwise, the posting will be delayed.
