Oh no you didn't. If I did not already have a computer built into my brain. I would be a customer. You have got to have the raw data if you want a chance to win. I would not even consider playing without it.

I agree you have to have something with which to evaluate the players, that's for sure. If you can do it in your head, more power to ya! 8-)

Isn't a lot of the fun of getting your team together in figuring out who should be good in a given park? :?: :?: :?:
Maybe I'm missing something-
please enlighten me.

If you like wining and going to the playoffs, there is no substitution for the raw data Joe and others offer. I would not start a season without it.

Of course, figuring out who works in your park and how the various parts fit together is one of the funnest parts! No doubt. The question is how do you make those evaluations? You can study the raw numbers, you can look at the cards, you can guess based on the player's actual stats or you can come up with a rating system. I'm not the only one that has a method for rating players. I simply offer it to others because I know that everyone doesn't have the time or desire to pour over the cards gleaning the info they need to determine who is the best fit for your team.

Personally, the fun comes from putting the parts together, not doing the grunt work involved in all the calcs. Some people *love* looking and the cards and doing the calcs. If you're one of those then you have your own rating system of a sort and what I have is not for you! For those that don't have the time to do that, this is a jump start to putting teams together.

A lot of guys have used or still use what I provide, e.g. Play By The Rules has used them for years and Riggo Drill (cicerocapones) used them for years before he developed his own system.

No big deal to me if you don't want to use them, I just throw it out there for people who might want to try it.
