I vote for unlimited drops to get under $80 million. BUT, can live with the original rules.
btw- How are we counting, or are we not counting, the players without cards?
ie. I drafted Hermida, hoping he would get one.

That's a good example of what I mean. Under our current rules, Hermidia would have to count as one of the 3 drops allowed. Therefore, if socal is, say, $15 million over budget, he would now have to cut 2 players with a combined salary of $15 million, instead of 3. I think it's far too restricting. It also penalizes teams that guessed "wrong" on player prices....which could happen to anyone, really.
I could understand how those who picked some bargains and managed to fit under the cap would want the rules to stay the same, but at the same time, I don't feel those in the same position as me should be penalized so severely.

i really don't care, what ever is agreed upon is OK with me -- i'd even be willing to re-do the whole draft now that we know what we are working with :shock: How the hell did i draft Mahay?????????????
Remember in the "old" days, QK? We not only had to drop players BUT we had to start with our MOST expensive and work your way down to legality!! Not any three but 1st-AROD then Clemens and if still not legal it would be Lee!! Ahhhhhhhh, those were the days :lol: I think if we can drop freely and work our way from the bottom up then i have half a team i'd like to drop!!!!! :P
