Wild Pitch

Can anyone enlighten me as to how the wild pitch occurs? Last night I was the recipient of a play-off win through two consecutive wild pitches. No dice rolls were listed for these outcomes. I assume they occur through some combination of a CATCH-X and the wildpitch rating of the pitcher. Troncoso with a wp-11 was pitching and Baker was catching. The text of the inning is below:

Whenever a result is rolled with runners on base, a 20-sided die is rolled first to see if there is a wild pitch, passed ball, or balk. If a '1' is rolled, then the 20-sided die is rolled again to see if the pitcher throws a wild pitch. If the second roll is less than or equal to his wild pitch rating, he throws a wild pitch.
With Troncoso, there is a 2.75% chance of a wild pitch before the batter/pitcher result ever takes place. Thus, there is a 7.6 in 10,000 chance of this happening twice in a row with no batter/pitcher result happening.

BTW, if a 2 is rolled initially, a 6-sided die is rolled to determine if there is possibly a passed ball or balk. A 1-3 result means there could be a balk and a 4-6 result means there could be a passed ball. Then, look at the corresponding catcher's PB rating or pitcher's BK rating and roll the 20-sided die one more time to determine the result.

To summarize:
1. Roll 20-sided die
2. If result is 2-20, roll three 6-sided dice for batter/pitcher result.
3. If result is 1, roll 20-sided again for WP based on catcher's WP rating.
4. If result is 2, roll 6-sided die for PB or BK.
5. If result is 1-3, roll 20-sided die for BK based on pitcher's BK rating.
6. If result is 4-6, roll 20-sided die for PB based on catcher's PB rating.
7. If WP, PB, or BK happens, repeat the whole process.
8. If no WP, PB, or BK happen after an initial '1' or '2' roll, simply proceed to step 2 (roll three 6-sided dice for batter/pitcher result). Do not repeat step 1.

Finally, there can occasionally be passed balls or wild pitches based on the catcher's defense off of the Catcher's X result.

Thanks!! Yes, that is a bit complicated but I now see how such a result occurs without an actual dice roll for the hitter. Thanks also for the probability calculations - this scenario is not as rare as I might have thought it to be initially.

Sorry. I have to confess I didn't even read the inning summary you posted. Both of those wild pitches happened on a Catcher's X result from the pitcher's card. Any pitcher will throw a wild pitch nearly 20% of the time that runners are on base when the Catcher's X result is rolled.

Every other time that a fielding rating has come into play (including catch-X) there has been a dice roll included with the entry, yet neither of these two wild pitches included one. Seems peculiar to me. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure on that...maybe it's because there's only one possible roll for Catcher's Card X. Maybe someone else knows?
