Ouch  You're right about having injury prone guys, but still....

Jet,

We hook up again - already! I got lucky last time with 2Ws, but hate having to face Dusch again. How about delaying him to your next victim?

Let see if we can score more than 10 runs combined this time around.

A few of my guys are starting to come around - McLouth was hitting .050 early on.

Spider, Yeah, I have to say that the schedule is weird. I think we're done for the season now. :? Weird

Anyway, you took two again, we left a ton of guys on in the first loss. Just not getting the hits right now. Losing Holliday for the last 2 didn't help us any. Probably lucky to win one.

I think this team will come on, but we're really struggling right now.

Duchs can't get out of the 6th. Only in his firt game has he pitched to his salary. :(

Oh well, it's a long season.

Guess I shouldn't be too upset at 10-11 with only 6 home games  Cangrejeros have only played 3 at home, so maybe I should be happy.

Looks like we have more low HR parks than most of the leagues I've been in (not many compared to many of you). So pitching may seem to be "better" than I expected.

Any idea what the record LOW HRs is for a team in a season. I could be in the hunt for that one . :)

Jet: On "paper" (my spreadsheet analysis, for what it's worth) I expected to lose 2 to you both times. You team looks much better to me than it's shown. Like you say, it's a long season.

Thanks Spider,

I think my team is much better than it has performed, but most guys are going to think that right? ;)

I did sweep Weston last night and actually hit a bit so maybe Halle is starting to have an impact! ;) 8-)

Runs Abound

Postby Spider 67 » Thu Oct 29, 2009 7:01 am

Just played Caraboo at Fenway and total runs for BOTH teams - 7. Three shutouts and, fortunately, I was on the winning side for two of them. Only one HR and, of course, none for the good guys. :)

yeah, cap moves when you're already at 60 mil doesn't seem to be a good idea.

We're playing the Happy Hookers tonight missing Pablo, Milton and Overbay for at least 2 games. I hope my pitching is up to it! At least we have our top 3 going.

got lucky last night winning a couple of one runners with J Pav. Then, somehow scored six runs without the aforementioned trio!
