I did not skip Round 5 intentionally. How in the heck I missed signing up for that event I do not know, but I did. It's very possible it cost me a spot in the semis as well. :? :x

Nah...top 36 go, you should be in no prob. Now if you wanna see someone hanging on for dear life, check out my precarious 35 spot...now THAT is not going to cut it!

I see that the 25 point stadium deduction is being used. What about the 200 IP for relievers? Did no one go over that, or is it not being enforced?

It's still in place, I haven't finished updating my file but last I checked no one had gone over the limit.

I check all leagues as they finish, before posting to the standings. Unless I missed somebody, nobody has gone over the limit this year.

What is exactly is the point of a stadium deduction? I hardly see where using different stadiums each time would somehow allow for greater managerial skill as it's not difficult to find any five stadiums with very similar ratings. I was being somewhat sarcastic, but really, if using different stadiums is to force us out of our comfort zones, why not then put a limit to the number of times you can use a player? It would seem to me that managing 24 different players each time is going to indicate managerial skill far more than changing ballparks with relatively insignificant differences in single and HR ratings.

Likewise the 200 IP limit on RPs? Why would a manager be penalized for HAL decisions?

I don't think repeating players and stadiums carry the same weight, because a player is exclusive to one team per event and a stadium is not.

Making people mix up their stadiums adds to the challenge I believe; it forces people to build different kinds of teams.

Personally, I would like to see the RP rule lowered to 150 innings or even less. The SuperReliever strategy is, to me, the biggest flaw in this game.

I agree that it would be smart to lower the RP IP limit to 150. That would force managers to build better bullpens as well as manage their starters a bit differently. It's naive to believe that a manager cannot moderately control the number of innings a pitcher throws.

With more time to plan the Player's Championship next year, I'm sure there are several modifications that can be implemented.

What are the rules for stadium usage in the Semi-Finals?

Can we use any ballpark?
Does it have to be different than the ones in the qualifying rounds?
Does it have to be unique for the league?

The Semis are autodraft leagues this year, any park not already used is OK. Must be different from qualifying rounds, not allowed to use the same park twice ever on the Tour. Champions League is live draft, with parks also unique for the league.
