Will 30 errors or less guarranty a winning record?

This team made only 60 errors with Y. Molina making 12 of them. SGT D

Starting pitching under performed a bit, floyd in particular. Relief pitching blew 27 saves (should have spend more dough on a closer). It was fun :)

A slightly different idea that I thought was interesting-DPs

I set out to build a team that tried to lead the league in GB DPs defensively. I didn't succeed - was behind the league leader by 1 GB DP. I'll try posting a link in the next posting. But my regular infield was Adrian Gonzalez, Iwamura, Rollins and Rolen. I also tried to pick a couple of pitchers who induce DPs-Sampson and Bennett for SPs, and Corcoran and Downs for RPs. If my memory is right, I had tried to get Nathan as the closer, but didn't get him. In the end, I got a nice result with Capps, who saved 58 games with 8 blown saves. My other SPs were Zambrano, Meche and Kazmir (a favourite of mine, but doesn't induce DPs). Zambrano is also a favourite of mine, since I tend to run into division rivals with lots of lefty hitters. Our ballpark was PNC. Other regular hitters included Pierzynski, Huff, Pierre, Victorino, and Hart. Atkins and Brown played here and there against lefty pitchers. Overall, I was very pleased. They went 90-72, finishing first, but unfortunately lost the semi's in 5. Despite the good record, they relied heavily on winning 1 run games somehow. Cheers! Geoff Brookes :)

I just started a new team with all 1 range fielders, except for the catcher!

I will put another post on this later to let you know how that goes. The outfield is Crawford/Victorino/Suzuki.

The infield is Beltre/Rollins/Iwamura/Youkilis.

The catcher is Blanco.
