OK, you all have sold me on the "keeper without a card" question.

Hearing no objections, let's add a new line to the rules section about ANNUAL FREE AGENT DRAFT, as follows:

[b:9088b95e90][color=red:9088b95e90]8) There is no requirement for a team to drop a player who is not issued a card in the new year's set. For example, if a star player is injured in 2009 but a full recovery is expected in 2010, then that player can remain on a team's 40 man roster while using the 2009 card set.

As the draft winds down, we can begin to think about round 41, the stadium draft, which will begin on this discussion thread, as soon as pick #480 is completed.

Per the rules, "order of stadium selection will be the reverse of that of the first round of the initial draft."
