OK, with Gold Gloves, catcher is probably set with Bench and Fisk, Schmidt looks like a lock at 3B, Otis, Cedeno and Lynn will battle for CF, Bowa, Concepcion and Metzger will fight over short and Morgan and Grich will split second. But what about 1B, LF and RF? Is it possible that HAL will just decide to skip our league, or do Kingman and Velez have a shot at winning the Gold Glove for leftfield? That is one scary notion.

we shouldda banned the glovemen altogether. If this works out the nextr league and be no 1 or 2 ratings at any positions because there are chicken-**** managers with all ones up the middle. I am planning of stomping their 'fraidy-cat teams that cannot embrace the theme, Now this is defense:

l-c-r 4-4-2 (singleton, collins, reggie)
3-s-2-1 - 3-3-4-4 (parrish, fregosi, orta, aikens)
c-3 (Fergurson)

I dare you to hit to the vacuums on the left side of the infield!!! Or run on Collins and his +2 arm. Make that a double dog dare
