injured free agents

How does it work when you pick up an injured free agent? Is he still hurt even if he's been a free agent long enough to "heal"?

No, he won't still be hurt if he has had enough time to heal. Games count even while he sits in Free Agents. It's a glitch in that the red "I" remains on, and it will actually remain on until after the games are played that night, but he will be able to play immediately.
