Chin Music League (Keeper League)

Fellas,

I am going to be starting a keeper league for the upcoming 2009 set. It will be a 24 team league. This league will be played very much like MLB. We will have 40 man rosters where you will be able to bring up guys from your "minors." We will have free agency through a powerball system(will explain when I finish the constitution). Basically, if you have ever dreamed of running your own franchise, this will be your chance.

I have already created a yahoo groups, so that we can have a message board for all of us to chat.

We will only play one season a year. We will have a solid constitution and commish board, made up of 4 members. We will have updated free agent list for ease of information.

Like I said, this will be as real as possible. Every team will have its own stadium. There will be a 200 mil salary cap so you can pick any player you want. You will be able to put anybody on your 40 man you want. If you want Stephen Strasburg, he will be eligible. If you want your grandmother, well, she is eligible too. If you want to pick your nephew who is 5 but throws 40mph already, go right ahead.

I am in this for the long haul! I am hoping to make this a sucessful competitive league. This is a different type of league and I hope it gets alot of interest. If you are interested or have any questions, contact me at kylerose256@hotmail.com and post below.

What if everyone had only 100 million to spend for their
40 man roster? Then we would be forced to decide which
players to keep and which to let go via free agency! Our prospects
would appreciate in value and some might be forced to be moved in favor of veteran help, or vice versa.
I like your idea of a 40 man roster where any 40 can be drafted.
My grandma has a good curve. (OR WAS THAT, GOOD CURVES?)

We could have a 3 round free agent draft with sandwich picks for type
A and Type B free agents. Type A is more than 4 million, Type B is less than 4. These would be sandwich picks between the first and second rounds.
