From Bernie's 2006 launch site...

[i:fc8355912a]The new season is here!

SportingNews.com is proud to present:
Strat-O-Matic Baseball 2006
http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2006/

There's more new options and features than have ever been added for a new game, and this is just the tip of the iceberg:

- New league option: Weighted Waivers
You now have the option to set up your league so that the post-draft Waiver Priority list is ordered by weight of draft picks lost, instead of just by the count.

- New league option: customizable Free Agent Drop Penalty
You now have the option to set up your league so that the percentage of a player's salary that is withheld upon release is different from the default 20%.

- Home/Road splits
Track home and road stats for each player on your team!

- Sort by Balance & Handedness in Player Lists
Sort player lists from 9L Balance to 9R, or vice versa. Or filter by right-handed pitchers only, or switch-hitting batters.

- Official 2006 Players' Championship
We're working with teepack to bring you the first official Strat-O-Matic 2006 Players' Championship (formerly the Players' Tour), and it'll be bigger and badder than ever. More details to be posted as they become available!

- New League Roster Chart page
You can now review the rosters of all 12 teams in your league on one single page.

- Sexier Front Office page
Keep up with your league's recent roster moves, and what's going on around the Strat-O-Matic Online universe, all from your Front Office page.

- More stats
We've packed our stats displays with as many stats as we could fit.

Again, this is just the tip of the iceberg. This is just what I could pull off in the short time since I came back on to Strat-O-Matic full-time. Trust me, there's a lot, a LOT, more to come, for this game, and all our others (yes, I'm talkin' 80s, put that guitar down YountFan).

Maybe YF deserves some credit for his incredibly persuasive guitar.... :D [quote:04b7e999b3](yes, I'm talkin' 80s, put that guitar down YountFan). [/quote:04b7e999b3]

Also, this shows what a little in the way of human resources from TSN (one--count 'em one--full time employee) can add to the game.
