It was noted that the clock started on 11/25 @ 00:36 AM... but Sosa was claimed on 11/25 @ 14:44... just over 14 hours later. Am I missing something?

It'll be moot in about 35 minutes, anyway...

The last Sosa bid was 11/24 at 13:27. Basically, once everyone checks in then the 24 hour clock goes into effect, but it's applied retroactively. That said, if someone were to dispute the claim and want Sosa saying they thought it was 24 hours from the last check-in, and I'm sure we'd be willing to accommodate the bid.
