Question--If a bid is made after 24 hrs of stagnation, but before the winning owner confirms it.....the bid is void right?

In other words, the winning bidder doesn't have to sit at his computer and wait for the 24 hrs to expire to officially claim his player.

yeah, after 24hrs any bid is void - card is off the market!!

that's what I figured.

Guess I should post this here too.......the players purchased by position and by owner threads should not be added to. Litangel and I will keep them updated. We may not get on it right away, but will do it some time that day. These two threads are references for all to use and will be updated daily so that everyone can see how much money everyone has used and who they have and to show how many (and who) players have been picked at each position.

for $80 mil you have to get 25 players AND a ballpark, correct?

and if so, when does the ballpark bidding come into play?

yes. 80M includes 26 purchases (25 players and 1 unique stadium)

The stadiums may be brought up for bid whenever a pitcher may be brought up. For example whoever wins Rivera would then get to bring up the next pitcher....but the winning bidder on Rivera could choose to bring up a stadium instead.

I know we're a long way from needing to know this, but I'd like to know anyway. How are divisions set up? Do we already have them determined by sign-ups or will they be randomly assigned?

Whatever people want, we can randomly assign them and that can be done now or later, or we can simply load first-come, first-served. We've done this both ways. I have no preference so if others do, I'm happy to oblige.
