Bombers--I like the Strippers team the best--nice rotation Rameriz-Gomes, gotta love it.

I just wanted to see some other teams than the ones I was seeing . My son (23) and I put the team together . I been trying to get him to give it a try (SOM) . I realize there are wholes but the boy picked most of these players . I did tell him that 2B would suffer D-wise , but he didn't seem to care . The main thing is is that he's is finally taking interest due to the Sox win and 2005 season got him ! :D

Pitching Help

Postby ERICZAMPOL » Fri Mar 17, 2006 1:49 pm

Am at a lost for what to do with pitching. Am in Safeco; other ballparks are Da Bronx, Coors, and Bank One. One team in my division has 4 switch hitters and 4 lefties currently. Another team has 5 righties, 2 switchies and 2 lefties probably. And the final team looks to field 2 righties, 4 lefty bats, and 3 switchies. So far I have

Zito
Beckett
Washburn
Miller
Rusch
Schilling
Eyre
Reitsma
Calero
Hawkins

I have another 2 mn to spend but no idea where to go. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Keep in mind that in SAFECO, you can ignore BP singles. Just watch the BPHRs vs LHBs, and you can also more or less get away with pitchers that have a few BPHRs vs R.

Make sure you can hit lefties too. Otherwise people will come at you hard from the left side.

In the words of Christ, "it is finished"...My 1st team that is. 8)

All hitters parks in division except mine (Dodger). I'm a little worried about Pedro's BPHRs vs R, but hopefully with that low WHIPm they will be solo shots usually.

vs - R

CF Damon-L
2B Ellis-R
DH Giambi-L
3B M-Cab-R
1B Berkman-S
RF Dye R
LF Sullivan-L (a bargain @ $1.4M IMO)
C Navarro-S
SS Uribe-R

vs - L

CF Damon-L
2B Ellis-R
1B Berkman-S
3B M-Cab-R
DH Giambi-L
RF Dye-R
SS Uribe-R
C Navarro-S
LF Sullivan-L

SP:

Pedro
Contreras
Seo
Sabathia
Millwood

Free Radicals,

Show your son the Super Advanced Fielding Chart 2Bs "4" column, but be prepared to hold him in your arms afterwards, as he repeats through his sobbing over and over, "I didn't know...I just didn't know Daddy..."

edit: When that episode is over, when you think he is ready, tell him about the downgrading to a "5" when there is a RHB at the plate, and a runner at 1st being held. A mental health professional should be present at this point.
