I hear ya J, I think your team underperformed and I know my team did too. We should have been better offensively. Outside of Pablo and Bradley the O just didn't come close to their numbers. Really needed Holliday to be better than he was.
Pitching-wise the starters weren't too far off, Duchs was worth the $ and Kershaw was tough luck (3-13!) Bonderman probably shouldn't be this bad (almost 6 ERA) in a 60 mil league either, BUT the killer was that Shell (3.81 ERA and 11 BS) and Torres (4.69 ERA and 7 BS) just didn't get it done in the pen. Lost a lot of games late.
But, part of lack of Offense was due to the injuries that just killed us the last 2/3's of the season. We're finishing with 9 guys available for 2 of the last 3 games.
Injury Report
Your Current Injuries
Bradley, Milton, 10 more games
Burriss, Emmanuel, 2 more games
Gross, Gabe, 3 more games
Willits, Reggie, 7 more games
Belliard, Ronnie, 3 more games
Recently off the Injured List
• Lopez, Felipe, healthy for game 155
• Sandoval, Pablo, healthy for game 155
Ugh.
Still, with all that, you look at the pythagorean and we should have 4 more wins and Pit 5 more losses. That's what happens in a dice game like this I guess. <shrug> I *have* had teams that over performed the pythagorean so, I guess it balances out.
That being said: Congrats to all the division winners! Good luck in the playoffs, may the best team win!
