Why does Bench suddenly look so cheap at 13M? I am struggling to shed my "bidding goggles" this morning......

Killebrew - how much is the nice guy and all-time hero factor worth?

Calm down Dan, Kitty may be yours at 4.4 later today (or do I hope someone outbids me - Kaat? What am I thinking????).

Maybe I can get Dick Elsworth for 6M?

Am I talking out loud here? Echo, echo, echo.....

Pinch hitting for Pedro Borbon, Manny Mota, Mota, Mota.....

Sorry, just sharing the psychosis that goes along with the first '69 auction. 8-)

Definitely a bizarro auction.... wonder how it would have played out if we used the standard 80 mill...

Killebrew - can't give this guy away in ATG. With an $80 mil bid cap his 8.24 mil ATG card went for 1.5 in the first auction, 1.3 in the second.

I have my own issues - I just lost the first 2 games of a Best-of-Five against Franky in the ES II League and I've lost...Woodie Held for the remainder of the playoffs.

He did hit 2 homers in his first 4 at-bats in the series, but things look dim without my Woodie.

Resume the auction.
