id say it depends on what you need more...a leadoff hitter vs LHP or a #2 hitter vs LPH.... ovbisiouly youks D is gonna hurt, and since you're playing in PETCO, id say freddy....

WOW, I like that double play duo. Great D up the middle and pitching, huh? I like your approach, though I wonder about your ability to manufacture runs. Considering the makeup of your division, I'd try to add another LH bat - a non-BPHR longball guy would be best. I'd lose Murton (bad fit for your division) and/or one of your stud starters to upgrade to an LH masher. Play ball!

One of the 3b will go, and I want to add a run producer. It looks like it will be at rf or 1b unless something else opens up. I'm thinking Sanchez stays, Youk goes, and I find someone who can play everyday and drive in runs at 1b or rf. Murton will DH. I love any ex-Red Sox who won us a trophy, and Murton is that guy, so he stays!

Thanks for the input!

It does seem like that # on the 6 in the 2 column vs RHPs will result in a lot of warning track shots at home.

One thing I keep thinking lately which applies for sure in pitchers' parks, is - screw the Beane count. Sometimes you need a guy that can hit .300, not bounce into too many DPs, and can get base hits in the clutch.

I'm talking about SINGLE**. Know what I mean?
