UGH...Hak edged me out of the post-season with the 2nd tiebreaker. That negative run differential was like an axe hanging over me. I wish I could have been one of the guys to send you credits Sean but it aint happening.

I hope your rehab is coming along and that you are making progress and I maybe you'll be able to use the credits to join us in the tournament.

Sean...Best of luck with all you are doing and have a blessed holiday season.

Looks like another patented Yellow_Dog flameout in the playoffs...

Merry Christmas, my friends! I will jump in the Championship Series, it will be great to get back in the swing of things.

Jimmy, thank you for the holiday greetings. I am doing well, and going home for 3 days at Christmas, and will be home for good on January 15.

Thanks to all of you for the support, and God Bless all of you during this most precious time of year.

Is Sean officially playing?

There are 4 openings in left. We have 56 teams. Should I sign you up on the 70s Board for the 70s/80s Players Tournament? Will you be able to formulate your 1st 2 teams in the next week or so?

Sean, I just want to make sure that you aren't left out in the cold if we fill.
Merry Christmas!!!

Who are the 2 teams playing in these Finals? Winner gets a choice of a Pete Rose autographed bat with the inscription "Hit King" or a Mike Schmidt autographed ball with his #20. Loser gets the other. PM me with your addresses and choice when this is over and I'll get them in the mail.
Both items are PSA/DNA certified and I got them in person.

I believe we will get 4 more players for the 70s/80s Extravaganza, so let me know Sean if you can officially get in! Get healthy ASAP.

Fittingly, the 2 playoff teams from the east are in.

Sean Time Hakers managed by Hakmusic

I have already sent a league mail telling them to e-mail support to have the winning credits transferred to Seans account.

League Completed

Postby chess2899 » Thu Dec 24, 2009 11:22 pm

I tentatively listed Sean as the 59th entry. I didn't want him shut out of the Players 70s/80s Championship. The league has filled.

Sean, please confirm if you want to play. You can use your free credits from this event to start. I know you won't get home til January 15, but I need to know if we can start filling divisions next week after we get our 60th entry.

Flip me a PM or tell me on this board!

Merry Christmas and enjoy your family!

Since I've earned one credit so far, I'll email Bernie and see about getting the credit transfered for Sean to use in the tournament.

It will be great to have Sean in the tournament. I'm sure he's ready to kick all of our butts.

Congrats to Hak for winning the championship. Also congrats go out to Hailedog for coming in as runner-up. They both played the season in a very tough East division and came through like champs.

Thanks Jimmy. it was a fun league to play in and I am honored to win one for Sean. I have contacted Bernie about the credits and will get them to Sean as soon as possible. Hopefully Sean will join the 70's/80's tournament, it would be great to have him in it = plus I think I am in a league with him.
