Only 20 minutes till midnight...no way we get 9 guys in in 20 minutes. I'll wait the 20, and then pick it up again in the morning...yawn. Don't forget to include the stud on your draft card (LOL) and select him as your last pick.

No big rush now. The league can't start till a week from Monday at this point. :(

I was looking at the stadiums selected. There are 5 pitcher's parks, 5 hitter's parks and 2 neutral parks. It ought to be interesting! I based the above stats on HR ratings above or below 10 for each park. The 2 neutral parks have HR ratings of exactly 10.

I'm going out for a few hours...I'll check back later. I don't want to hold things up, but like LM says...no rush now.

The two neutrals (identical Yankee and Memorial) along with Busch (pitcher) and Riverside (hitter) are in my division, the Central. So it should be a pretty balanced division. I might have picked Royals if my stud wasn't Winfield, but I didn't want to waste his power. I keep thinking that if I build for a neutral park I should be able to play in both hitter and pitcher parks on the road, but somehow my Yankee teams always have much better home records, even though I've never particularly tailored them to the park. Hmmmm....

The East, OTOH, pits Wrigley and the Kingdome vs. the Astrodome and Dodger. West has Murph and Tiger vs Oakland and Comiskey.

My team is ready to roll as soon as the east gets filled. And as LMB says, at this point, there's no rush. One good aspect of the long wait until gametime is that it will allow a lot of time for trading. There was an unusual amount of trading in Mystery League version, both in preseason and after.
