I don't know about shortening the clock (certainly possible), but I wouldn't mind seeing us add an additional hitter AND pitcher to the mix?

In the 2008 and 1999 auctions we do five hitters and three pitchers.

I agree that adding another pitcher and another hitter (or more) to the active bidding is a good idea.

But changing the clock might not be fair for the owners that can only check once a day or so.

I have no problem going to 5/3 - though keeping track gets tougher (more work for you Bobto maintain the sheet). But I like the clock at 24 hours. Things will accellerate a bit as we get below the possible 10M barrier - Seaver for 8.4 was a nice deal.
