RE: Should this team be this bad?

Seems like your team is underpowered, Sarge. 1-12/1-9 is a decent bomber park in the 08 set. You only really need 2 light weight on base guys, you have 6. Jeter and Roberts are probably fine, but having Lee and Figgins in the corners is a bit criminal, same w/Ellsbury in left. I pretty much never play with a 1 at first-- you need firepower in that slot, man!

Bummer Sarge. :(

My team's gone back on a hot streak at home, a 12-3 run that's put us back over .500 -- but still in last since we've also been cursed with the best division, six games back.

Seeing what's going on, too. We've got the best home record in the league, but second worst road record. Moreover, Jenks has blown nine saves, plus a couple games he lost that were ties when he entered, and has an ERA over 6. If he'd been able to convert even half of those games, we'd be a game back and leading the Wild Card. Question now is whether to wait on him and hope he comes around, or junk him and somebody else and make a play for a different closer...

I had Howard who hit under .200. just one of those seasons. I did not expect Haren, Webb and Lilly to bomb in Dodger Stadium along with all of the pitcher parks tht we were playing in but those are the breaks. Thought speed, OBP, a little pop and Def along with really solid pitching would work :( . SGT D

Hey, Tom, nice rally by your team in the semis! You're in the middle of both the division and the wild card races. Nice job.
