Postby Rant » Mon Jan 11, 2010 10:15 am

My Internet just came back up after being down the last day and a half. I have a work call in a couple minutes but can pick right after that. Sorry for the delay!

6. Red Beards
7. Willie Randolph
8. Ehlekev

That's a tough choice. Sorry for the big hold-up; I hate Comcast. Only thing worse is Verizon...

The bad news -- keyzick's in my div. The good-- the D-Backs aren't.

I was actually hoping the D-Backs would drop to me. The Reds were my fallback, but feel like it was a drop-off and I coulda gone with three or four other teams that are probably as good as the Reds.

Looks like Ohio's gonna be well represented in the Central...

Looks like I'm in that division. I will take the Toledo Mudhens when it's my turn. Since all of the teams I wanted are gone, the Mudhens are starting to look pretty good!

What is it with these lotteries. The last three I've been in I've come in dead last. That's not bad when your drafting one player but whole teams is a different story. Oh well, it's part of the game.

I don't know, I'd take last over 7th or 8th. At least you can evaluate a whole blended team when picking.

This is true, Rant. Take one good hitting team and then a good pitching team, although pitching was pretty thin back then.

Yeah...I think even the more complete teams have some holes that definitely need to be addressed, so this could be fun.

My team is really looking forward to the bus trips across Ohio to face Kev's MudHens...
