New player question regarding starting SP on short rest

Postby darylgranger » Fri Jan 15, 2010 7:56 pm

I have an injured SP and I lack depth at the position, leaving me in a situation where someone will have to start on short rest.

Or at least that's what I hope will happen. I cannot use the per-game starter option to put any of my pitchers into the spot I need one of them to start due to their lack of rest.

If I just leave my rotation as is (injured pitcher in it), will a SP be forced to play? Will this be the same as in the board game: player will start weak?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

If there is no SP available, HAL will choose a RP for the start. Often with surprisingly good results.

Thanks! You just saved me some transfer fees.

No problem. I figured I better stay on the good side of anyone who pays homage to nurgle.
I googled him and he sounds like one bad dude.
