I don't think we should have any salary limit on AL/NL post-draft trades. Teams will find a way to do what is in their best interest and generally this kind of stuff works itself out eventually. This is part of the challenge. It requires teams to work outside of their comfort zone and build a more realistic team with all their respective warts and flaws. There will be enough talent to fill out a roster, just not what anyone ideally would want. Everyone is in the same boat, playing under the same rules. I like the challenge of playing with players I would never draft and have to make a square peg fit in a round hole. This will force creative trades post-draft as well as in season AL/AL & NL/NL trades as teams attempt to build a competetive team out of spare parts and rejects. Nobody said it would be easy.

Just like other 24-team leagues, it's all about the luck of the Auto-Draft. If you get hammered in the draft....you are in big big trouble. It's tough to recover. Their only hope may be some lopsided trades ($3M guy for a $6M guy, etc). This may be the busiest trade frenzy in history! :shock:

Regardless of what happens, I like the 24-team leagues and am glad Riggo threw it together. Besides, I play in Coors Field. My lineup of $1M hitters will have career seasons!
