One of my fondest memories as a kid at Old Comiskey Park: getting an autograph from Wilbur Wood in the bullpen before a game. Ol' Wilbur was smoking a few cigarettes as he cheerfully signed several autographs, including mine.
Baseball in the '70's?! We don't need no stinkin' steroids...just cigarettes, beer and plenty of amphetamines. And the occassional life swap (see Fritz & Kek).
