I agree with the crowd. I can see us easily getting 6 to 8 wrong league players. If we drop 1 player pre-waivers, we would need to somehow trade 6 to 7 players. If no one wants to trade with you during pre-waivers, it gets pretty dicey in trying to recover.
After waivers and the dust settles, guys might be more willing to trade players around knowing they didn't get help from waivers. There should be a little more time to wheel and deal. With that said, people shouldn't be holding players hostage either.

With all that said, there really isn't a good solution for people with a bad draft. There would have to be a lot of creativity with less talented players in order to win.

Good points made by several people. Yes, I understand that if you miss a pick and get an expensive replacement player from the 'wrong' league, you will want to have some time to try to work out a deal, so you get some value back.

So let's say you should have all players from your own league on your roster by [b:49eefaaab9]Midnight (Pacific Time) of day after waivers runs - that's 34 hours after waivers[/b:49eefaaab9]. ...and obviously we don't have a SWAT team waiting to swoop in for any minor infraction of rules. Basically, it's an honor system to be in compliance.
