With the retirement of Singleton, it makes me wonder whether he would get into the DD HOF. Or any other retired players Koosman, Seaver, Fingers, Brock, McCovey. Any thoughts?

Check out Larry Hisle in the Encyclopedia Hitters link and how productive he was for 3 years. He doesn't retire till 1978 but no one else ever used him again after 1973. He had 3 very productive seasons and then was black balled by the owners. I smell collusion. :P

Munson had a great career for the Goats....definite HOF material.

DD HOF is a good idea. We should put togther a list of retired players and vote for 5-10 each season.

I think they must have played at least 5 seasons
