Pre Season Tournament - WBC Style

Pre Season Tournament - WBC Style

Postby KENNETHSMALLWOOD » Sun Mar 19, 2006 8:14 am

I just got back from the WBC (World Baseball Classic) and the thought occured to me ( that a scarely thing) that we could apply that concept to a preseason tournament like what I seen.

A Preseason Tournament would allow teams to judge their team before League play.

The tournament would be played between Wavier and Start of the Season.

The tournament would be a three day form. 4 team per bracket. The first day each team plays each other 10 games... 50 % of the team advance to play each other 6 games the Second day and the thrid day, the top Two plays for the Championship.

Their is also a bracket so the winner of each divison will advance to play other Leagues. I am trying to figure out the conflict to teams having the some of the same players. Should not be a probelm

I don't understand it all but it sounds interesting. I have 2 teams that start on Monday. Would they count? Do you run the games on your CD game or something? What about player and team settings?

Tell us more.

The games are run on the home game engine. There is a paper mgr and also the LZP files the games produces ( for thou who have the game at Home) That is how your team is programed.. You simply fill out the excel mgr or make your computer mgr ( by importanting the Lzp files)and I import the mgr into game engine. The games are run in matter of seconds.

Interested concept about single Teams..

I will start a AT Large Bracket for any single Teams.

Rules

1. Must be a new formed TSN League team by this Monday evening. Thou I will allow for this first week, any new teams from the first week of the new game.
2. If you like to play post me a link to your team so I can put the team on the game engine.
