I just realized something that TOTALLY screws me over in this auction, and might screw others even worse. At the end of the auction, of I am left with close to the minimum to spend for a number of players, I will not be able to afford those players even if anyone else wants them, because of the 10% minimum. In practice, there will be a number of 7, 8. or 9 mil players that no one else wants that I will not be able to purchase because I can not make their .7-.9 minimum bids.The only way to avoid this would be for me not to bid above the minimum for the rest of the auction. And others are in worse shape than me. CATom will not be able to get any player over 6.7 mil, and only one over 6mi, despite the fact that many more expensive guys will be left.
I'm not sure if the rest of you realized this or not, I never player ATG before, but right now I am feeling a little ripped off (even though I assume nobody set this up on purpose). If I am not the only one who didn't realize this, I would like a rule change.
