Roster Moves in a Live Draft League

My first Live Draft league is starting soon. What are the rules for roster moves once the season starts?

Well, before season starts, it depends if there is a waiver period or not. With a waiver period, there is so to speak a second draft, where you list all available players that you like.

Without a waiver period, then it's first come first serve. And there is no limit on the number of transactions (well, I think there is a limit of 300 transactions, but i'm not sure). OF course, at all occasions, you must respect the roster requirements.

Once the season starts, you have a penalty for dropping players. That penalty varies from 5% to 20%, depending on the leagues.

Thank you.

But in a Live Draft salaries do not come in to play at all. My assumption is you can make transactions as long as you live by the rule..."No team may have more than 150 different players on their team during the season".

Looking for more input.

Unless they changed it (the last live draft I did was with the 2007 set), you can have the maximum amount of players on your team at any point, which I believe is 28, with no salary considerations.

Any move is allowed, provided it fits in with the rules posted in the FAQ (you need two catchers, X number of pitchers, no more than 125 players for the season, etc.).

Good luck!

From my experience, it was the Wild West. People swapping players all season long, no penalty, up until game 142.

Like a 142 game Frenzy :)
