I'm playing in PNC, which, if everything shapes up as normal, I'll stand by my statement

It will be interesting to see who plays Closer Roulette. My round 6 pick of Bailey didn't start a stampede but now Rivera and Broxton are gone.

After doing a few of these pre-card drafts, the general consensus and comment is "I shouldn't have drafted RP's as quick as I did"

I was in socalchiro's pre-card draft (only 12 rounds) in October and they flew off the board starting with the first pick of round 7. In geekor's pre-card last year (15 rounds) someone  started the rush in round 6.
Aerodave's 28 rounder last year - round 5. I ended up with a mid- range closer. I didn't want to get caught flat footed this time around.

And as I type, down goes Hoffman.

I'll bite - selected Hoffman. I'd be shocked if he's anything but a C3 but he only gave up 2 HR's in 54 IP.

The downside for me is that I've had a hard time utilizing the new pitching settings with closers - never get them in enough, but I'm willing to keep trying.

I never have used them. I just check the cards. Get the same results as far as high IP for the high $ guys which is all I care about.

Well, another pick and I didn't have the stones to do what I was tempted to do. I know I'll have zero chance of doing so in the next round. Probably would have chickened out again anyway.

Good pick...I was debating between Victorino and Jones. I love the vs Righty stats though and the 1 in CF :)

I'm kind of half glad you took Jones because I was thinking about taking him and moving morgan to RF. You can't go wrong with a 1. I like jones a lot.

The last time I played closer roulette, it turned out to be russian roulette with 6 rounds in the chamber.
