Hi Everyone,

I created a 2008 Live Draft league, with the draft being held on a Saturday, February 13th at 5:00pm ET. We have a few open spots to fill since the initial group signed up. [u:332385dc93]I would like to limit this particular league to managers with a rating under 200 pts and no league championships[/u:332385dc93]. If you are slightly over 200 pts (with no titles), thats ok too. If you fit the bill and would like to join this league, here is the info:

The initial group has very little Strat-O-Matic experience. I think this is a good chance for some of the newer players (myself included) to practice strategy/gameplay with a card set they are familiar with before the 2009 set comes out.

Sorry for the delay in posting. I think this is a great idea. However, I have been learning the ropes by playing the 2003 game since it is only $12.50, so I don't have any experience with the 2008 game. However, I am planning to jump into the 2009 game when it comes out. So, if you want to delay it until then, I am definitely in.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll probably end up starting a 2009 league too at some point. I just thought one last shot at 2008 might be a nice option for some of the newer guys since they already have some familiarity with the card set (before moving onto 2009).

FYI, I delayed this because a few people asked me to wait until after the NFL Playoffs to hold the draft. I'll post details (draft date/time) by the end of this week.
