Just a few quick pointers/reminders for anybody not familiar with the draft:
1. Make sure your proxies are turned ON. If not, toggle to "Yes" at top of proxy page, then hit "change status" buttton.
2. Proxies will fire in their numbered order, first by round, then group, then priority. I think most people don't bother using "round" at all. I find it helpful also to leave gaps in my priority orders. (E.g., instead of listing 1,2,3,4,5, list 5, 10, 15, 20, 25.) The gaps won't affect firing order, but make it easier to insert new picks or change orders without re-entering all your picks.
3. Good idea to fill your TSN draft card while the draft is in progress...most folks find this helps keep track of rosters, salary cap, etc.
4. BE SURE to leave at least $5M unused salary at the end of live draft, to pay for your 10 autodrafted players.
5. Don't forget your stadium. One of your picks must be your ballpark, and it must be unique (not already picked, not previously used by you). If you forget, you'll have to drop your last pick to choose a park. Most managers usually draft their stadium at or near the end, but, if in demand, a stadium might go considerably higher in the draft.
6. Trades (of both players and draft picks) are allowed during the draft...just need 2 others to approve on the draft site.
7. After the 16 live draft rounds are complete, place your 10 autodraft players at the TOP of your card for the TSN autodraft (followed by waivers, etc., as usual).
If anybody has anything to add, please chime in!
Any questions, just ask...don't want anybody to feel at a disadvantage here.
Meanwhile, good luck to all (in kicking weinberg's butt :P ).
