question...and I may not have read previous posts well enough. IF I protect an over 10m player, and then an over 10m player that is eligible for my team is on the FA wire, can i drop the 10m player i protected?
I guess I'm asking if i'm stuck with the players I protected.....

Yes, you are stuck with the players you protect. That's why I said you must choose wisely or not at all.


On a side note, Andy, George Sisler is carded to the SLB-db subgroup, not the SLB-pre. You also declared his 1921 card, but we're playing this franchise league in ATG IV, so that card is not available (it is in ATG V). In ATG IV only the 1920 card is available, and it is priced at 10.07M. This would make him your one and only 10M+ player. Please re-post your protected players to make any necessary changes.

Crap, I forgot we were still doing ATG4. I will redo my protected list after I go referee 2 Basketball games this morning...........if i can still walk to the computer...........

My question really was not can I pick up another 10m player after waivers as Novie asked, but can I swap 10m players if someone doesnt protect one that I covet. I think Dave answered question, i just wanted to clarify what i was saying..

Just in case it wasn't clear, the basic answer to your question is no. If you pick a 10M hitter now, that's your 10M hitter for the season.

Wow...the over 10M player rule f'n sucks!

We get 110M to work with and aren't able to use them anywhere near the way we would like to... blows!

The protecting players by grouping was a stroke of genius... well done! The idea of not being able to protect all the highest salaried players... well done. Limiting your roster in addition to that to one 10m hitter and one 10m pitcher... lame as hell. Truly significantly takes away the option of various strategies for the makeup of your team.
